"This song was – just like Surreal Terror – completely written in the practice room. Most of the music was done by our former lead-guitarist Frederik. We love this song, as it is rather different from our typical style. The pretty fast, melodic and still simple instrumental parts make this song really fun to play and the rather heavy ending underlines the desperation in the lyrics. Maurice plays a huge part in this song, as he is screaming the "I lost myself"'s live and the composition of Maurice' and Jörn's screaming makes it even more emotional and atmospheric. It might also be the most difficult song for me to sing. All this makes this song special for us.

Lyrical Meaning:
The lyrics are entirely Jörn's work. The text is an illustration of the moment of desperation and hopelessness feeling like forever, although it only lasts for a few seconds. It reaches back to Jörn's past of him constantly being let down, oppressed and deceived. In my opinion it's one of our most powerful lyrics."
